$1.60, 120g
After the previous supposedly apricot and yoghurt bar, I’m looking pretty pessimistic on this slice thing. Again, I’d had one before from a vending machine and I remember not wholly feeling satisfied then. Maybe because it wasn’t Grain Waves…I was addicted to those at the time. The slice is similar to the last in that it’s oat/wheat/coconut based. But unlike the other apricot and yoghurt slice; the fruit is more prevalent. In each bite there is either a sultana or an apricot and the taste it quite present. Even the yoghurt section has more flavour. Still, the slice isn’t incredibly tasty and all comes off as rather heavy and filling; yet not satisfying. The fruit does make the meal a bit more distinguishable, since just coconut bread isn’t the greatest thing that one can eat. I wouldn’t buy it again, like still, if I was dying on an island with a supermarket, and they ran out of everything except for these slices, I certainly wouldn’t mind. There are still definitely better sweet foods in existence. 5/10
