Nana Diver’s Oven Baked Mini Meal – Chocolate Chip

$1.60, 120g
First off, I’m amused by the label on the front: ‘excellent source of fibre’. I mean, if I was health conscious, I wouldn’t be eating you in the first place! Out of the products I bought; this (and the other one of the same brand) was the cheapest. It’s pretty much the same amount of food as six of the Special K bars (there are six in a box. Somewhat sad.) They used to sell these brand slices in the vending machine at TAFE, I’ve had both types before, but couldn’t exactly remember it. Though it shows me how much they up-price goods in the vending machines. If I remember correctly, it cost like, $3.50 back then.
The main part of the slice is a wholegrain kinda mix of wheat and oats. It again is filled with coconut which I really think is overused. It’s probably cheap for manufacturer’s to use as filler. The chunks of chocolate could be bigger, and of better quality. But at least I taste chocolate in almost every small bite.  If Cadbury or some more well known chocolate producer made a similar bar I’m sure it would be greater. The chocolate itself is kind of the show piece, because the parts without chocolate are rather mundane and almost unpleasant, but the chocolate itself sort of lifts up the meal to a respectable level. However, personally, I’d much rather just eat a chocolate bar. 6/10
